Filing Period of 2023 Withholding and Non-withholding Tax Statement is from January 1 to 31, 2024. Please Make Full Use of Internet to Complete the Filing
National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, Ministry of Finance (hereinafter "the Bureau") stated that filing period of withholding and non-withholding tax statement, trust property tax statement, and dividend tax statement for taxable year 2023 is from January 1 to January 31, 2024. Online filing is available until 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on the last day. Tax withholders, profit-seeking enterprises, and trustees shall pay attention and complete the filing on time.
The Bureau further explained that the aforementioned tax statements could be filed via paper, electronic media or Internet. Among these methods, using the Internet is much more convenient and time-saving, and is not restricted by time or location during the filing period. E-filing is available 24 hours a day, including holidays.
Tax withholders, profit-seeking enterprises, and trustees could download and install “The System of Withholding and Non-withholding Tax Statement (including Trust) E-Filing” from the website of “The e-Filing and Tax Payment Service of the Ministry of Finance (R.O.C.)” (https://tax.nat.gov.tw). Then, by following instructions and steps in the e-filing system, tax statements declaration would be completed.
The Bureau would like to remind the public that if any errors in the filing data are found during the filing period, the filing data may be re-uploaded via the e-filing system. Please ensure the completeness of the uploaded data to avoid any omissions.
