The National Taxation Bureau of the Northern District of the Ministry of Finance (MOF) stated that in order to attract new customers and strengthen brand image, various domestic entities or network channel operators have launched promotional programs to entice consumers to join their respective memberships. The convenience of the membership system means that customers can obtain Cloud invoices through the membership carrier when they make a purchase and be automatically notified if they win a prize in the Uniform Invoice Lottery.
The Bureau further stated that when members receive a notification from the operator that they have won the prize, they can go to the multimedia service kiosks of the four major convenience stores (7-11, Family Mart, Hi-Life, and OKmart) to print out the winning invoice or present the invoice certificate notification to physical locations designated by the MOF as official prize redemption channels to receive their prize. This process can be time-consuming and laborious, often leading consumers to forget to claim their prize and miss the opportunity to receive cash prizes. To address these issues, the MOF is committed to integrating various carriers, so that members of the public only need to use one of the following two methods to consolidate various membership carriers to their mobile phone barcode and designate an account to which the prize will be transferred:
1. The Unified Invoice Redemption APP of the Ministry of Finance
Download and log in the “Ministry of Finance Uniform Invoice Redemption APP”, click “Carrier Consolidation” on the homepage → click “Add Carrier” → select “Member Carrier” in the Carrier category field → enter the name of the store in the member source field (for example, “Far Eastern Department Store”) → link directly to the store, enter the member account number and password → confirm the carrier information of the member, and click “Confirm” to complete the log in.
2. E-invoice platform of the Ministry of Finance
Log in to the Ministry of Finance’s E-invoice platform as a consumer → click “Carrier Consolidation Settings” → click “Membership Carrier Consolidation”, the subsequent operation steps are the same as the above method.
The Bureau would like to remind the public to obtain the cloud invoices to enjoy more chances to win prizes for both the general awards and exclusive awards for cloud invoices. The exclusive awards for cloud invoices include 30 sets of NT$1,000,000, 16,000 sets of NT$2,000, 100,000 sets of NT$800, and 2,150,000 sets of NT$500 cash award prizes. The total amount of cloud invoice exclusive awards will reach NT$1.217 billion. If you complete your carrier consolidation and designate a bank account in which to receive prize winnings, the system will automatically check your invoices against the winning numbers and automatically redeem any prizes and transfer the cash award into the designated account. If you have any questions, you can refer to the introduction of carrier consolidation on the Ministry of Finance’s E-invoice platform/cloud invoice school (https://www.einvoice.nat.gov.tw/ein_upload/html/ESQ/ESQ800W.html) or call the toll-free number 0800-000-321, and someone from the Bureau will serve you wholeheartedly.
